The mandate of the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) is “to protect the public in real estate transactions and provide related services to the real estate industry”. DRE establishes and regulates policies, standards, and practices which all learning providers must fully meet or exceed under a rigorous compliance process, in order to be able to offer accredited continuing education courses within the state of California. DRE provides a variety of services to California Real Estate professionals, including their new online licensing system that offers an easy way for busy brokers and salespersons to renew their licenses.
