Course Time Requirements

CT Department of Consumer Protection, License Services Division, has defined the following policy regarding the actual amount of time a student must spend on a course to receive a certificate. A student should spend at least 50 minutes of each 60-minute hour to receive credit for that hour. For example, a three-hour course should not be completed in less than 2 ½ hours and a six-hour course should not be completed in less than five hours.
