CE Requirements
Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, License Services Division
Real estate licensees are required to complete 12 hours of Department of Consumer Protection approved continuing education every two years in the even-numbered years.
Registrants who pass the 40-question Connecticut Continuing Education Examination will receive credit for continuing education for the current two-year renewal period.
Certificate of Course Completion
A signed Certificate of Completion will be forwarded to you within three weeks of completing a course. You must retain original certificates for three years in case you are selected for audit by the Department of Consumer Protection.
CE Exemptions
For the current renewal period, brokers are exempt from requiring continuing education credits if they have passed their original Promissor licensing examination between 4/1/2006 and 3/31/2008.
For the current renewal period, salespersons are exempt from requiring continuing education credits if they have passed their original PSI licensing examination between 6/1/2006 and 5/31/2008.
